German chocolate cake

  • °1 pack Moist Supreme Pillsbury German Chocolate Cake Mix
  • °Additional ingredients to prepare cake batter according to package directions
  • °1 tablespoon butter
  • °1 cup chopped pecans
  • °2 packs of Creamy Supreme Frosting Plush, Coconut & Pecan Flavor
  • °1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


How to prepare cake in several ways.
Divide batter into 3 (8-inch) round cake pans.
Bake and let cool as directed on the package, but reduce baking time to 19 to 22 minutes.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add pecan pieces. Cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly toasted.
Lift from skillet. to calm down.
Place a layer of cake on a serving plate, face down.
Put about 1 cup of decorating cream on the face.
Repeat cake and decorating layers two more times.
Arrange the cooled pecans over the garnish over the cake.
Microwave chocolate in a small heavy-duty plastic bag on high for 35 to 45 seconds or until melted and smooth when kneading.
Cut a small corner of the bag.
Sprinkle over cake.
